I am a writer. There…I said it. It’s taken awhile for me to just come out and say it, but there it is in all its glory. I AM A WRITER. (must be important, I used all caps.) I write fiction, particularly short fiction in the romance and thriller genres. And like most writers, yep, I’ve got a novel in the works, too.
I love words and language and literature. There isn’t anything you can do without them.
I also dig taking pictures. I have an old Nikon DSLR, an iPhone 4s and an iPad 2 that I use for my equipment. Though, most of the photos for this site come from either my phone or my iPad. My children (and my feet) are my most favorite subjects, but I don’t stop there. I literally take a picture of almost everything.
I live in Southern California and have for my entire life. Where else can you experience desert, beach, valleys and mountains within a couple hours drive? And let’s not forget Disneyland! We also have traffic, smog and earthquakes. You choose your battles, right?
This site is a collection of what motivates me, what inspires me and just plain what I find interesting. A little digital scrapbook of me. I might also do some whining, complaining and bitching, but we all do that at least a little bit of the time.
And as a little bit of a warning…I might say a swear word or two. I might even express a controversial view point. But this site is based on my opinion and I welcome any comments. But let’s be adults, people. You are also entitled to your opinion, which I totally respect, but don’t be hateful. I won’t tolerate hate.
Thank you for visiting.

To answer your question “Where else can you experience desert, beach, valleys and mountains within a couple hours drive?” – Tasmania! Which is where I live … no Disneyland, though! =D
Awe! No Disneyland!?! Eh, it’s expensive anyway. ;)
Yes, I guess so … anyway, I prefer nature! =D
