How I spent my afternoon. iPad, notepad, pen, music and Starbucks.
I even got some writing done!
Necessities
When writing outside, these are essential. Well, for me the iPad is. It’s my companion. She feels all my writings.
Oh, and Hello Kitty is along for the ride. ;)
An Apple a day…
My mom calls me an Apple whore.
I have no idea why.
Geniusly
I was sitting at this bar feeling all smart. Ok, that’s not really true. I was at my local Apple Store trying to find out why my precious iPhone 4s has a little rattle.
But while you’re waiting while they take your baby out of sight, you feel geniusly.
The only thing missing was a jack and coke.
I heart Jack Dawson
Titanic releases today in 3d and hell yeah, I’m going to see it.
I saw this beast of a movie 9 times in the theater, countless times on cable and VHS (did I just date myself?!).
I fell in love with the romance of the story, the power of love that Jack and Rose had. Rose’s strength. The passion all the characters had.
Oh, and not to mention how extremely hot Leonardo DiCaprio is!
I took this picture of the poster I had on the back of my door back in the 90s in December. Yes, it was still hanging at my father-in-law’s house 15 years later. I apologize for the lack of quality, it was taken with my wonderous iPad 2, before the existence of my iPhone.

Meow
My father-in-law loves animals. His garage is full of stray cats, possums and skunks. When a mama cat abandoned her newly born kittens he fully adopted them. Took them everywhere, bottle fed them, cleaned their booties with wipes…madness. He couldn’t bring himself to take them to a shelter where their fate was unknown.
He still has three of them. And this one is the friendliest. Two spot is her (I think) name.
Too bad those cute little kittens grow up to be snobby cats.

Candy necklace in General
Every time we went to Lake Matthews to hang out at my grampa’s property we stopped at this tiny rinkydink store called The General. My cousins and I used to get soda and candy necklaces.
My friend recently moved near there and at a Halloween party he suggested going there to get limes. I begged my husband to get me a candy necklace.
Yay! He got me one! But as it goes, I’m a big girl now and it won’t fit around my neck as nicely as it did before.
