My take on “journey.” I used to travel this road every weekend in my youth. Over the years the road had moved from the forefront of my memories to the background. Now that I have reconnected with my cousin on a whole new level, this road has once again has become my almost-every weekend travels.

Dos Lagos in Corona has this adorable man-made pond thing with a nice, refreshing water fall. Looking through the tunnel, this is a view of said fake pond.
It was peaceful there. Serene. Definitely a spot to add to my very short list of writing places. (Oh and it helps that they have a TGI Fridays, too, for an ice cold New Castle on tap.)

We went to see the butterflies getting it on in Pismo. These two love birds, ahem love insects, were caught doing the nasty in the pathway. Never missing an opportunity to get my shoes in a frame, I caught these beauties with my beauty.
