My niece creating up a storm on Monday. I didn’t tell her I took her picture until Wednesday. I still got a glare from her. ;)
Today is positively beautiful. I love it that my iPhone takes great sun pictures, too.
My take on “journey.” I used to travel this road every weekend in my youth. Over the years the road had moved from the forefront of my memories to the background. Now that I have reconnected with my cousin on a whole new level, this road has once again has become my almost-every weekend travels.
My regular writing spot was closed one Friday so I went a bit further down the freeway to this nice, quiet shopping center. Shopping center, did you say? But I see water…
Dos Lagos in Corona has this adorable man-made pond thing with a nice, refreshing water fall. Looking through the tunnel, this is a view of said fake pond.
It was peaceful there. Serene. Definitely a spot to add to my very short list of writing places. (Oh and it helps that they have a TGI Fridays, too, for an ice cold New Castle on tap.)
When was the last time you saw a house phone? Especially one that isn’t cordless, or has a keypad, and is actually plugged into a wall. An actual working rotary telephone.
Yeah, me too.
I probably took 40 pictures of this little guy in various poses. I really dug him.
But I settled on just this one for the weekly contrast challenge.
The night was clear, yet a haze engulfed the neighborhood. Before venturing out to capture some food for the family, I did a little tap tap on my trusty sidekick. What you see is my streetlight among the haze.
My favorite things to indulge on. My evening adult beverage and my writing tools.
And taking it to the next level…the fact I take a photo of almost anything and I love playing with filters! More indulgents! ;)
We went to see the butterflies getting it on in Pismo. These two love birds, ahem love insects, were caught doing the nasty in the pathway. Never missing an opportunity to get my shoes in a frame, I caught these beauties with my beauty.
The kids ran over this sidewalk chalk one sunny day this week. And as they do, first it was funny, then they were upset. Kids.
