This is all Ernest’s doing. He wanted me to take a picture of just three pairs of shoes, but then lined up all of Flannery’s too.
Then he had to pose. I see a pattern emerging. Do I have a Zoolander in the making????
Oh I hope not! A Zac Efron? I’ll can live with that!

I can’t believe I didn’t take any family Thanksgiving pictures yesterday. How freaken lame!
But I had a really great time at my dad’s house. My aunts, uncles, cousins…delicious food we all help to prepare.
I missed my children, no doubt. But I know they were having fun with their daddy and his family.

The kids and their cousin fingerpainted a Christmas tree last night to count down to the big day.

It was a Corona drinking, skinny jean wearing, doc marten sportin’ Mobday Night Football kinda night.
Oh and the 49ets won. Booyah.

I was on the front porch talking to my auntie when this caught my interest.
We paused our conversation for a quick second while I captured it.

So my Grampa bought about 2 acres of land in California City in the late 50s, early 60s. It was supposed to be California’s Vegas.
20 years ago we tried to find this plot. Failed. 3 years ago my dad tried again. Didn’t happen.
Today armed with my iPhone, my sister with her Droid, my dad with his truck…we found it.
My sister and I picked up some rocks and wrote the “address” on them and took them home. My dad used my Starbucks cup and collected some dirt.
It was a monumental moment between a daddy and his daughters.
