I couldn’t think of a title, but this line of My Girl was playing when I started this.
Heavenly. Pen and paper…cute shoes…spectacular weather…Starbucks.
Told ya I was back.
We had to make a pit stop on the way to Nuevo this morning so I pulled into a Starbucks. Yep, my kids sat nice and peaceful while waiting for my nonfat vanilla latte.
My new working-at-home digs. When I can’t escape reality long enough for a 40 mile car ride (and get a babysitter!) to My Starbucks, I now have this transformed room to write in.
See what a little spring cleaning can do? Especially when being driven by the Master-Takes-No-Shit Organizer.
My cousin, Jane, knows how to freakin rock the totes.
I now have a place for all my crap. No clutter, just inspiration at this writer’s desk.
I should make this a monthly thing……..
A bit of rain. A smidgen of coffee. And a brand spanking new mug.
It’s the little things. :)
My Starbucks. People only visit it, but I tap-tapped it.
I should write about it. :)
I’m at Starbucks at least once a week. I travel about 40 miles to a particular one to get my write on. And I can’t resist taking a picture almost every time.
I finally made it to my favorite office to put down some words and I was greeted by my favorite barista…
Her: hi! You want a nonfat vanilla latte? Grande?
Me: I sure do. (big smile) And a blueberry scone.
Oh, I LOVE this place!
Some people have snacks, others cold air and still others Bug Gulps to get them through a long, multi-hour drive.
I just need a Starbucks.
